This Privacy Policy explains how TeachMe Education & Development (FZC), Licence No. 10232, licensed by the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park Free Zone (SRTIP), operating under the TeachMe and TeachMe College Prep brands ("TeachMe", "we", "us" or "our"), handles personal information in connection with its educational services, website and TeachMe HUB.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Depending on the services used, TeachMe may collect information including:

• Student and parent/guardian names and contact details;

• Student age, school, grade, curriculum and academic goals;

• Grades, assessments, test scores, homework, attendance and academic progress;

• Course enrolments, bookings and TeachMe HUB account information;

• Payment, invoice and transaction information;

• Communications with TeachMe; and

• Website, device and technical information.

Payment information may be processed by third-party payment providers, and TeachMe may not receive or store complete payment-card details.

2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

TeachMe may use personal information as reasonably necessary to:

• Register students and provide educational services;

• Schedule classes and match students with tutors;

• Process payments and administer accounts;

• Communicate with students and parents;

• Monitor academic progress and provide feedback;

• Administer assessments and educational platforms;

• Operate and improve TeachMe's services;

• Maintain appropriate business and financial records;

• Protect our services against misuse; and

• Meet applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

3. STUDENTS UNDER 18

Many TeachMe students are under 18.

Parents or legal guardians may provide information about a student and interact with TeachMe in connection with the student's registration, payment and educational services.

Student information may be used where reasonably necessary to provide and administer TeachMe's services and as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law.

4. ACADEMIC INFORMATION & ONLINE LEARNING

TeachMe may process academic information, including assessments, homework, attendance, test results and performance analytics, to provide educational support.

Certain programs may use third-party educational or testing platforms through which TeachMe tutors can access relevant student performance information.

Online classes may involve a participant's name, video, audio or chat being visible to tutors and, for group classes, other participants.

TeachMe personnel may also participate in or observe sessions for educational, administrative or quality purposes.

Where sessions are recorded, recordings will be handled subject to applicable requirements.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

TeachMe may use third-party providers for services such as learning management, video conferencing, educational testing, payments, communications, website hosting, analytics, accounting and administration.

Information may be processed by or shared with these providers where reasonably necessary for their services.

These providers may operate in the UAE or other countries and may have their own privacy policies and terms.

6. COMMUNICATIONS

TeachMe may communicate with students and parents through TeachMe HUB, email, WhatsApp, telephone, SMS or other appropriate channels regarding classes, payments, academic matters, administration and TeachMe's services.

Recipients may request to stop receiving non-essential marketing communications. Necessary service-related communications may continue.

7. SHARING INFORMATION

TeachMe does not sell student or parent personal information.

Information may be shared where reasonably necessary with tutors, TeachMe personnel, technology and educational providers, payment providers, professional advisers or other service providers involved in delivering or operating TeachMe's services.

Information may also be disclosed where required or permitted by applicable law.

8. SECURITY & RETENTION

TeachMe uses reasonable measures intended to protect personal information. However, no electronic communication or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Personal information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for educational services, business operations, record-keeping, legal obligations, dispute resolution or other legitimate purposes.

9. COOKIES & DIGITAL SERVICES

TeachMe's website and digital services may use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, security, analytics, preferences and understanding the use and performance of its services.

Third-party services may also use their own technologies subject to their respective policies.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

TeachMe may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will be made available through TeachMe's website or other appropriate channels.
