Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: August 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by TeachMe Education & Development (FZC), Licence No. 10232, licensed by the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park Free Zone (SRTIP), operating under the TeachMe and TeachMe College Prep brands (“TeachMe”).

By registering for or purchasing a TeachMe service, you agree to these Terms. Where the student is under 18, the parent or legal guardian accepts these Terms on the student’s behalf.

1. Services & Payment

TeachMe provides tutoring, test preparation and related educational services, primarily online.

Unless otherwise agreed, fees are payable in advance. A booking, course place or enrolment is not confirmed until the required payment has been received.

Prices, schedules and program details are those communicated at the time of booking. Additional sessions are subject to availability and charged separately.

2. Regular Tutoring: Cancellation & Rescheduling

Regular tutoring sessions require at least 7 days’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling.

Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with less than 7 days’ notice will ordinarily be considered used and charged in full.

Genuine illness or exceptional circumstances may be considered by TeachMe on a case-by-case basis.

If TeachMe or a tutor cancels a session, a replacement session will normally be arranged. If this cannot reasonably be provided, an appropriate credit or refund may be issued.

3. Group Programs & SAT Courses

Group programs operate according to a fixed schedule and individual sessions generally cannot be rescheduled.

If a student misses a group session, the session is considered used and no automatic refund or credit is provided. Private make-up sessions may be available at an additional charge.

For SAT Performance Programs:

  • Full payment is required to secure enrolment;
  • Withdrawal before the program begins may be refunded less a 10% administrative fee;
  • Once the program begins, program fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law;
  • Missed group sessions are considered used; and
  • Students are expected to attend classes and complete assigned homework, practice and mock examinations.

4. Student Responsibilities

Students are expected to attend punctually, participate appropriately, complete assigned work and behave respectfully toward tutors, staff and other students.

For online sessions, students are responsible for having an appropriate device, internet connection and learning environment.

Technical problems on the student’s side do not automatically entitle the student to a refund or replacement session.

5. Academic Results

TeachMe is committed to providing high-quality educational support but does not guarantee any particular grade, examination score, SAT score, university admission, scholarship or other academic outcome.

Results depend on factors including the student’s starting level, attendance, effort, practice and examination performance.

Any results, score improvements or testimonials referred to in TeachMe materials describe individual or historical experiences and are not guarantees of future results.

6. Tutors, Scheduling & Technology

TeachMe may reasonably change a tutor, schedule or delivery arrangement where necessary and will seek to provide an appropriate alternative.

TeachMe may use third-party services for video conferencing, educational testing, payments, communications and learning management. These services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

TeachMe is not responsible for temporary failures of independent third-party services outside its reasonable control.

7. Class Observation & Recording

Authorized TeachMe personnel may occasionally observe classes for academic quality assurance.

Students and parents may not record, reproduce or distribute TeachMe sessions without prior authorization.
